S.A.F.E Training
The S.A.F.E. System can be deployed in an enterprise with
only 50 employees to one with 50,000 employees. This broad
applicability results from a carefully designed but comprehensive
framework (in paper and web site access format) that will
help organisations of many sizes and types to establish a
solid and accurate OH&S information base or foundational
assessment, upon which they can confidently build.
An inevitable consequence of offering such a large and comprehensive
system however, is that (at least initially) people need to
be trained in its use. As a result, training in the S.A.F.E.
system is offered via a standard two-day program at a fixed
cost. This is currently US$9,500 per course, which allows
up to twenty people from an enterprise to attend at any one
program. Although most of these courses are offered in house,
we occasionally also run public programs and these are currently
priced at US$895 per person.
Training is mainly offered at management level and to those
individuals that are likely to be involved directly in the
S.A.F.E audit process. Hence, the core training that is offered
is as follows:
Day 1
-
Overview of the S.A.F.E. system
-
The 5 clusters/10 category audit framework model
-
Bronze, Silver and Gold levels of assessment
-
Skill building to manage the S.A.F.E process
Day 2
-
OH& S audit methods and techniques
-
S.A.F.E. system measurement
-
OH& S improvement interventions and action planning
-
The use of the web based support resources and on-line
survey system
For in-house client led programs, every participant is given
an extensive suite of support materials (to a retail value
of $495 each). For public programs, individuals are also given
a wide range of support material (to a retail value of $395)
plus the capacity to purchase future paper based and electronic
accessed materials (for themselves of their clients) at a
significantly discounted rate).
