The second 3-ring binder in the Janus performance management system describes in detail the steps that are necessary to prepare for and hold an ‘end of cycle’ or annual appraisal discussion. It also includes in extensive module on holding effective career planning and development discussions and putting in place clear and firm action plans.

In addition to the practical guidance modules, this binder offers managers in particular a wide rage of “model” appraisal evaluations (each of which includes the words that can be used to describe strong, average and weak or poor performance.
