Every diagnostic instrument on the Profiles-r-us.com site can be completed by individuals to help him or her to discover more about their own behavior, style, or competence. Individuals can therefore better understand their personal strengths and development needs and will help bring new insights on what can be done to make improvement in the future.

Each profile comes with extensive interpretive notes to help individuals to understand their relative scores and to help think about where they might like to apply their future effort in action terms. A detailed output report is also available for each profile, that often includes coaching tips, helpful training courses and further reading suggestions.

Every competency based diagnostic instrument on the Profiles-r-us.com site can be completed as a full 360 degree profile. This means that the individual can invite their supervisor/mentor plus up to ten work colleagues, friends or other people of their choice to rate or assess them. When the initiator chooses their colleague group, the system automatically assigns each individual a unique User ID and password to use (which the initiator communicates to them by phone, fax or e-mail). Each individual rater then simply types in their User ID and password at the general URL login screen and are given step by step instructions through the questionnaire. Several other assessments can also be completed as a 360 degree profile.

Once everyone has completed the questionnaire, the initiator can view a full 360 degree report which now records the score for the individual initiator, their supervisor/mentor and their aggregated colleague group (providing full confidentiality). This provides extensive gap analysis potential to help the individual to appreciate the similarities and differences between their own assessments about themselves and the assessments that other people provide.
