When Barclays Bank wanted to develop a tailored system for
360 degree feedback based on their leadership imperatives
model, Training Solutions Group (the parent of profiles-r-us.com
Pty Ltd) won the tender. This tender was won because Training
Solutions offered an extensive capability in credible management
diagnostic instruments (including the popular leadership effectiveness
instrument that would serve as a base for the Barclays Bank
initiative). In addition, Training Solutions offered a cost
effective solution for the systems building process in which
the final application would sit on a Barclays internal server
and be an integral part of their HR intranet.
Over a period of several months, Training
Solutions built three unique on-line diagnostic tools for Barclays
Learning and Development and Barclays University team-a Leadership
assessment profile, an individual contributor assessment profile
and a short pre-course assessment with extensive comment collection
capability. To date, these applications (called i2i by Barclays)
have been used by several thousand employees across the UK
and several other countries (mainly in Europe). Barclays expect
over 43,000 employees to use the 121 system on a frequent
basis in the future.
